Throughout the day, Beavers will participate in a range of outdoor adventures, including:

  • Paddleboarding
  • Fire lighting
  • Shelter/Den building
  • Haggis Hunting (a fun game)

Saturday evening features a campfire with songs and marshmallows.

Sunday continues the adventure with more of the same activities as Saturday, giving the Beavers more time to enjoy the activities.

The ScotJam Team and the experienced instructors at Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead will provide all activity instruction and equipment.

All groups must adhere to The Scouts Policy, Organisation & Rules (POR). Specifically, in accordance with POR Rule 4.3.10.8b, a minimum ratio of one adult helper per six Beavers, plus the Leader in Charge, must be maintained.  As this is a Scout Scotland event all adults must adhere to the Adult Volunteer Requirements

If a full weekend away is too much for your Beavers, please contact the Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead Team to discuss alternative arrival and departure times: lochgoilhead@scouts.scot.
