Regatta

Regatta

The Scottish National Scout Regatta is an annual event for Scouts, Explorers and Leaders. It is open to any Scottish Scouting member who is over 10 years old. You don't have to  be a Sea Scout or have been to a Regatta before. It is about taking part, having fun, Socialising and meeting new friends.

There are opportunites to take part in different water events as well as a range of land activities. You dont have to enter every event but you should have previous experience for the events you are entering into. The ethos of the regatta is all about having a go and having fun. 

There are a number of different watersports events which will be split into Scouts, explorers and Network/Leader catergories. These are 

Sailing- Single handed and crewed

Paddling- Kayaks, Open Canoe and Paddleboard

Powerboating Challenge course. 

When not competing there are a number of land activities on offer such as High Ropes and Bushcraft or you can stay waterside to cheer on your other group members. There will be evening entertainment on the Saturday Night as well as a evening reception for Leaders. 

Booking

We can only accept group bookings for Regatta. The costs include indoor accomodation on friday and saturday night, catering from Saturday Breakfast and all activities over the weekend.
