Calling all Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Rainbows, and Brownies – get ready for an unforgettable day out in the wild for our Woodland Adventure Days!
Join us for a full day of action-packed activities and natural discovery. Whether you're aiming for your Scouts Naturalist Badge or just looking for some outdoor excitement, there's something for everyone!

Event Details
Join us deep in the heart of Great Towers magical 250-acre forest for a full day of actionpacked activities and natural discovery. Whether you're aiming for your Scouts Naturalist Badge or just looking for some outdoor excitement, there's something for everyone
Take part in our adventurous activities: Zoom down the zipwire, conquer the gauntlet challenge, jump off the leap of faith, and bounce into action with Aeroball. Try your hand at Soft Archery and Tomahawks. Don’t forget to visit our s’mores station for a tasty treat!
Get involved in nature fun sessions: Set off on a woodland treasure hunt, discover fascinating wildlife, and explore the wonders of our flora and fauna – all while building skills, friendships and memories.
Price
Tickets cost £22 per young person.
All leaders go free.
Dates
Woodland Adventure takes place 9.30am - 4pm daily across the following days:

If you wish to stay over the night before or after the event, we have camping pitches or tented villages available at a cost of:
Camping - £6.50 per person per night

Food
All attendees to bring their own packed lunch.
We'll have a picnic area available where you'll be able to set up gazebos, chairs etc. if you'd like a base for the day. You'll need to carry everything from your vehicle, so be prepared and pack light!
Our on-site shops will be selling small souvenirs, gifts, sweets, cold drinks and a small selection of savery pastries etc
Check in/Check out
Our centres will be open from 09:00 onwards for day arrival
If you have accessibility needs, please let our team know prior to arriving on site and they'll work with you to find a suitable parking space.
We recommend arriving by 09:30 to give you time to check in and make your way to the activities by 10:00.
On arrival to site, please follow the signage to check in.
You must check in as soon as you arrive.
At the end of the day, again, please follow the signage to where the team will facilitate the checking out of your group.
What do you need?
- Refillable water bottle.
- Appropriate clothing dependent on the weather
- Waterproof coat
- Strong, sturdy closed toe shoes (no flipflops/crocs/sandals/welly boots)
- Baseball/sun hat
- Long sleeved jumper/hoody
- Trousers
- Hairbands for tying long hair back
Some of these requests are due to activity risk assessments and therefore failure to comply could prevent young people from being able to participate.
Our centres are nut free zones, please ensure your packed lunches abide by this rule.
Please make sure all clothing and items are clearly labelled with name and that any valuables are left at home. We strongly recommend that children DO NOT bring mobile phones, smart watches, handheld game consoles or music devices. The days are packed full of activities, and we cannot accept any responsibility if they are lost, damaged or stolen.
