Traditional Raft Permit - Training and Assessment
This is a comprehensive course that not only will teach you varying construction techniques and ways to teach young people, but will also provide you with adequate training to keep yourself and others safe on the water.
The course will be practical and outside. All aspects of the course will take place within the Scout Adventure site. You do not need previous experience to attend this course.
Accommodation
Free camping is available on site
Why not upgrade to shared accommodation for only an additional £20 per night. All acommocation will be available from 4pm the evening before day 1 until 11am on the last day. All rooms have bunk beds and you may be sharing with another participant on your course. Bedding is provided with our indoor accomodation, but you do need to bring a towel. The kitchen will have everything you need for preparing and eating your meals.
Food
You will need to bring food for the whole course. Please make a packed lunch as you may not have time to pop out and get something.
