Archery Permit Training and Assessment
This Archery Leadership Permit course assesses leaders to deliver fun and safe introductory archery sessions within Scouting. The course will be delivered by an Archery Permit Assessor.
The course will be practical and outside. All aspects of the course will take place within the Scout Adventure site. You do not need previous experience of archery to attend this course.
Please note – Completion of the course will result in a recommendation for a permit but the permit itself is granted locally. Permits can be restricted depending on individual performance so that archery can still be delivered, but only under specific circumstances.
Accommodation
There will be free indoor accommodation available, though these rooms have bunk beds and you may be sharing with someone else attnending the course. A fully equipped kitchen will be accessible within this buidling for your use. Alternatively free camping is also available, please contact us.
Food
We can provide you with a evening meal on the Saturday, but you will need to bring food for the rest of the weekend. Please make a packed lunch as you may not be at your accommodation for lunch. Any dietary needs please inform us.
