Wild Adventure Days

Wild Adventures Holiday Club at Fordell Firs gives children aged 5-12 the chance to experience activities like climbing, bushcraft, adventure challenges and outdoor fun in a safe, supervised environment.

With over 20 outdoor activities led by qualified instructors, every day is packed with adventure while you’re at work.

Who it’s for

Open to all children aged 5 to 12 years. No Scout membership is required. Whether your child already loves outdoor adventure or simply enjoys trying new activities and making friends, they’ll have an exciting and supportive experience.

When 

Monday 19th October – Friday 23rd October 2026.

Drop off is between 9am and 9:30am.

Pick up is between 4pm and 4:30pm.

Where 

Scout Adventure Fordell Firs activity centre, located on the outskirts of Dunfermline, just five minutes from the Queensferry crossing.

What it costs

£40 per child per day. Or book all 5 days for £160, saving £40.

What to bring 

Please supply your child with a packed lunch and bottle of water for each day. Due to the time of year, please dress your child appropriately for the weather forecast each day.

Health & Safety 

We pride ourselves on our health and safety record.  We are government regulated through the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.  All staff are first aid trained, Disclosure Scotland/ Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme checked as appropriate to their position, and we have a child protection trainer on our team.

We welcome children with additional needs wherever possible, but do not provide personal care or support as defined in the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010. Please email fordellfirs@scouts.scot or call 01383 419073 to discuss your child’s needs.
