This Deer and Woodland Management course is designed to help you understand woodland health, recognise signs of deer and squirrel damage, and explore practical woodland management techniques.

Delivered in partnership with the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) and the High Weald National Landscape Partnership (HWNL), this hands-on course combines short indoor sessions with a practical woodland walk. You will learn how to identify species, assess woodland damage and explore best practice in deer management, with practical advice and techniques you can take back to your own sites or projects.
