Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid
Here at Scouts we know how important it is to be able to not only support other leaders but our young people as well, and we are recognising more and more people strgulling with their mental health. This course will help you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to have a non-judgmental conversation, recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support and recovery. Would you know how to provide effective first aid in an emergency?
This course will be run by a external provider who works closley with leading health care services. All aspects of the course will take place within the Scout Adventure site. You do not need previous experience of first aid to attend this course.
