Gilwell Reunion 2022

Friday 2 September - Sunday 4 September

Gilwell Reunion 2022 Fellows programme

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to Gilwell for Reunion 2022 after 2 years of online events. We can’t wait to be back around the campfire with you in person.

There are some changes this year as we find our new normal at Gilwell, and we look forward to sharing some of our plans for the future with you during your stay.

The most notable change is how we use the White House and bedrooms. As you might be aware, we ceased our conferencing and hotel operation, and as our team of staff and volunteer team has grown, we've repurposed parts of the building to accomodate these teams.

Due to these changes, we are no longer able to offer any attendees accommodation in the White House. However, we are delighted to offer the Gilwell Fellows a special package. This year's programme includes use of the Peter Harrison and Jack Petchey Lodges, with meals catered alongside our staff and volunteers.

Additionally, there will be exclusive events for the Fellows on Thursday and Saturday evenings, with food and drink provided.

Both lodges consist of 16 en-suite rooms, and there is also a fully equipped kitchen and main hall for dining, relaxing and socialising.

Places in our accommodation will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The Gilwell Reunion team will be in touch later in the summer to arrange your room allocation.

If you would prefer to stay in a local hotel, there are a number of options available, including a Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express in Chingford.

    • Your four-day programme (£275.00) includes:
      - Accommodation for four nights with self-service breakfast
      - Welcome buffet and drinks on Thursday evening
      - Lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
      - Dinner on Friday evening
      - Korean BBQ and drinks on Saturday evening before the campfire

As always, it will also be possible to buy additional refreshments from food outlets available on site.

We will be providing details of the full programme shortly, but if you have any questions at this stage please don’t hesitate to contact our Individual Giving Manager, Karen Page.
